Today we have a semi-realistic horse partial I made for personal use some years ago. It could also pass as a donkey or a mule--it has big ole ears! It has been worn for two or three outings, with a total of perhaps five hours of wear.
As this suit was initially intended for personal use, it has a few structural qualities that are less than ideal, as I knew "I" could always touch up my own work. These things are noted below!
This suit is a foam-based head with resin eyes painted purple, doll eyelashes, and kanekelon hand-wefted mane. The seal faux fur on the head is hand-sewn for the most part, with a few glued seams; these are not especially visible. The nose is dry-brushed pink and nostrils with pink fleece. The nostrils go straight through to a hollow muzzle--a pickable nose, in addition to the ideal place to place a fan, if desired! The vision is through the tearducts, and it is poor. This head is suited for a head with a smaller circumference; my head is 22 1/2" around the forehead and it is a snug fit. 20-22 would work best! The jaw moves via elastic, and there is a flap of fleece to hide the wearer's jaw.
The tail is a bundle of kanekelon to match the mane on the head, with a small piece of the same seal used on the face to serve as the tail's dock.
The hand hooves are very simple--3" white fox fur with black fleece mittens on the end. They are meant to reach elbow-length, and are one size fits most.
As noted above, there are some less-than-ideal issues that I want to ensure full disclosure about; the head is currently unlined. The hand hooves currently possess no means of keeping them up, such as elastic. The head is missing the "throat" fur piece; this also makes the cheeks spread too far when worn at the moment. I'm going to add the throat fur for free for the auction winner.
At the base price of $350, you will get the head as-is, with the only modification being the added throat fur. If the auction reaches $400, I'll happily line the head for you and add elastic to the hooves! If it reaches $450, I'll do all of the prior, and also install a battery-operated fan in the muzzle! If it is bought out at $550, I will make simple feet hooves custom for the winner in addition to the prior modifications!
Shipping will be paid for by the auction winner, price to be determined. (It will likely be around $20-30). However, I can also deliver this partial for free to Midwest Furfest!! This suit does come from a home that has held, at times, cats, dogs, and smokers, but every effort has been made to keep this item in an environment away from these factors.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
